Raw Vegan Day 3!

Day 3 and counting!

I have to admit, I am really excited to still be going strong on this raw challenge! I had a bit of a mishap today and got some bad stomach cramps, but I really believe it was due to a stomach bug I had from the last few weeks and not the diet, at least I know now that I am not allergic to anything such as gluten, as I am not eating anything but fruits, veg, nuts and seeds. Started yoga today! That was really nice, it's called Vinyasa, it was a 60 minute class that has repetitive holds that are quicker and then meditation at the end. It was a great work out and relaxing as well. Although I was slipping on my mat a little, whoops. I am exhausted again tonight, I am hoping it's not the diet, I am completely fine all day and I had no cravings today, in fact I was quite hungry during yoga, felt almost light headed towards the end of the class. I had my lunch at 2pm, and only one snack in between, so I am guessing I didn't eat enough, but I maintained being raw and went to the grocery store after class to stalk up on needed fruit and nut items. Also bought this amazing raw bar, looks like a granola bar but made from dates, dried banana, chia, and raw almonds. It was really good, but one bar was 3.65 (thanks Australia!) so I saved the wrapper and want to figure out how to make it. Ok....meal plans of the day...

Breakfast: The usual smoothie, blueberries, strawberries, banana and chia

Snack: two kiwis

Lunch: (I loveddd my lunch today) Everything tossed together as a salad:
Baby spinach leaves, mushrooms, radish slices, sprouts, brocollini, zucchini  pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins, 1/2 avocado, and 1/2 lemon squeezed over the whole thing. Really great combo with the creamy avocado, crunchy seeds, and sweet raisins over all the veg, had so much flavor.

Snack:
mandarin
all natural fruit roll up
kiwi
cup up melon

(NOTE: I wasn't that hungry today due to feeling stomach ill in the morning, so I ate less than I normally would and skipped on the nuts today)

Dinner:
Raw Banana Bar (see above)
Bumps on a log! I am sure you have had these as a kid, and maybe forgot about them, but they came rushing back to me when I gave in and bought all natural peanut butter today. Its 100% peanuts and organic and delicious, its the crunchy type. So what can I put peanut butter on? Celery of course. I cut up 4 really large pieces of celery, slathered them with crunch pb and then covered them in raisins. I actually got full off all the celery with PB I ate. I also had a bowl of green grapes.

Dessert: :) See photo below. Chocolate blueberry decadence!
Throw in a blender (and be patient, I wasn't but Nico was, so eventually it looked like ice cream!)
Frozen blueberries (or berry of your choice)
Dates (we probably added 10-15) PS they are delicous on their own, like caramel candies
1 teaspoon all natural vanilla extract
2 tablespoons water (can use soy or almond milk if not being raw)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (the all natural cocoa powder, no sugar or anything added)

So yummy!

Well it was a good day in the end, I feel really energized about the way I am eating, knowing that for the last 72 hours I have put 0 chemicals in my body or anything processed or cooked. It feels nice, I haven't noticed my waist line changing, but I feel really great overall! Goodnight, till tomorrow.
